simple and sweet

I love this birthday card that I made for my mother-in-law, it's very simple and pretty.  I used a white JoAnn's Craft Essentials 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" card for the base, some pink and green cardstock, Stampin' Up! Melon Mambo embossing powder, Father's Day and Flower Fest stamps, Inkessentials pearlescent embossing powder, a piece of vellum and Pebbles' "Royal Garden" embossed paper from the Ever After line.  :)
My apologies, I forgot that I added a Doodlebug Design flower token at the last minute!  I took these pictures on Sunday before I mailed the card on Monday and couldn't wait to post it.  Happy Birthday, Gloria, I hope it was a wonderful one and we love you!

A note about comments - Blogger hates me and won't let me comment back, so I installed a new widget that DOES allow me to comment back; it works too!  I do appreciate everyone's comments very much, and I love that you've stopped by.  :)
